Consider Resolution adopting the updated Spalding County Hazard Mitigation Plan. City Manager Kenny Smith will address.


SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS OR CONCERNS:

Pursuant to the Disaster Mitigation Act of 2000, the Federal Emergency Management Agency has completed its review of the updated Spalding County Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan for program compliance. Spalding County will consider adoption at its Commission Meeting on January 9, 2017, and each municipality must pass individual resolutions adopting the updated Plan. The updated Hazard Mitigation Plan, as well as an identification of plan changes/updates is attached for perusal.



STAFF RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends adoption.
