ITEM SUMMARY:

Consider Resolution reappointing Assistant Municipal Court Solicitor and approving compensation for said position.


SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS OR CONCERNS:

This Resolution will provide for an Assistant Municipal Court Solicitor and establish duties and compensation for said position.  Appointee will serve in the absence of Municipal Court Solicitor for court sessions.  Elizabeth P. O'Neal is recommended for reappointment by the current Municipal Court Solicitor to fill this position. 

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends approval.

FINANCIAL IMPACT:

Rate of pay is $400 per court session served in the absence of Municipal Court Solicitor. $1600 budgeted in FY 17 Amended Budget.
