ITEM SUMMARY:

Consider for approval to amend the City of Griffin's Fiscal Year 2017 Operating and Capital Budget in the amount of $15,000 for Noise Logger replacement under vendor warranty buyback in Water Wastewater Utility Fund.  Markus Schwab, Chief Financial Officer, will address.


SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS OR CONCERNS:

Original purchase from fiscal year 2015 did not and has not functioned as described.  After much negotiation with vendor, vendor has agreed to remove equipment under warranty buy back offer.  The City intends to replace the equipment with like kind from another vendor.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends approval.

FINANCIAL IMPACT:

The resolution and amendment appropriates $15,000 to revenue and expense (Repair & Maintenance Supplies) for replacement noise logggers.
