The City has PCs that are out of warranty and are not licensed to run the current Microsoft technology. The IT equipment will be purchased under the City’s life cycle management program in the budgeted amount of $29,940.00.
Staff recommends approval of the consolidated (bulk) buy.
Consolidated (bulk) buy affords the City an opportunity to purchase better quality and additional PC’s at a cheaper cost and a net savings of $10,060.00. Budget was for $40,000.00 versus actual cost of $29,940.00. |
