SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS OR CONCERNS:

Traffic signal maintenance is a specialized field, and one that Griffin Power Technical Services group is not equipped to undertake.  Previous contract was re-bid and selected vendor is of the highest quality in this area and will respond 24/7 to a service request generated by COG. Term of this initial contract is 12/1/2016 to 12/31/2017, with four successive renewals if performance is acceptable.  



STAFF RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends approval.

FINANCIAL IMPACT:

$50,000 budgeted in FY 17 for traffic signal maintenance
