Consider approval of Wayfinding Signs to the Oak Hill Cemetery enhancement project. City of Griffin Archivist, Cindy Bartow, will discuss.


SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS OR CONCERNS:

The Cemetery Enhancement Project includes three Information kiosks with published cemetery maps, the second edition of the Historic Cemeteries book and  way finding signs.

 

Way finding signs will improve the users' experience in the Cemetery and relate the history of Griffin. The map with identified paths will be posted in the information kiosks, published in the Historic Cemeteries book and be available for Cemetery visitors.

FINANCIAL IMPACT:

Signs are estimated to be $185 each without installation. The number of signs has not been determined. $9980 is being rolled from FY 16 to FY 17 to complete the total cemetery sign project.
