Vehicles shall provide for "equity" to facilitate a "trade-In" to acquire  replacement used vehicles for use by the Special Services Unit or shall be sold with the proceeds of such sale returned to the State Asset Forfeiture Account in order to facilitate the purchase of replacement used vehicle/s for use by the Special Services Unit.

Staff recommends Approval.

Trade-in or sale of these vehicles (as referenced above) will provide a mechanism to assist in the purchase of replacement used vehicles. This process will enhance budgetary funds and allow for more serviceable and operationally appropriate vehicles providing for significant taxpayer savings.
