Consider a request by 1888 Mills to change the street name of "Nacom Way" to "Weaving a Better World Drive." City Manager Kenny Smith will address.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS OR CONCERNS:

The Grand Opening of the new 1888 Mills facility at 375 Airport Road is tentatively scheduled for June 11, 2015. The truck entrance to the facility is off Everee Inn Road and named "Nacom Way" after the former property owner and facility. 1888 Mills is requesting to change the name of the truck entrance to "Weaving a Better World Drive" which is their Brand Purpose.

The only other properties affected are the City of Griffin water tower accessibility and a .02 acre tract across the railroad with a Nacom Way address. That property owner has been contacted and agrees with the name change.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends approval.
