Total cost of vehicle and equipment installation - $27,639. Equipment will be re-used from a retired vehicle and only equipment charge is installation. This vehicle will be utilized by the Special Investigative Unit.
Budget amendment cleans up asset forfeiture account including Gains / Losses of sales of assets, District Attorney's fees, and misc expenses expended from the fund in FY 15.
Staff recommends approval
Resolution and budget amendment appropriates funds from the sale of surplus vehicles to capital outlay and various housekeeping budget maintenance items as outlined in the resolution. |
