Consider Resolution to appoint an Assistant Municipal Court Solicitor for the City of Griffin to serve in the absence of Municipal Court Solicitor. City Manager Kenny Smith will address.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS OR CONCERNS:

This Resolution will provide for an Assistant Municipal Court Solicitor and establish duties and compensation for said position. Appointee will serve in the absence of Municipal Court Solicitor Jessica Whatley O'Connor for court sessions. Elizabeth M. Pool is recommended by the Municipal Court Solicitor to fill this position.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends approval.

FINANCIAL IMPACT:

N/A - Payment for any services rendered by the Assistant Municipal Court Solicitor would be in lieu of payment to the Municipal Court Solicitor and not in addition to said Solicitor.
