Consider approving Resolution to Appoint a Municipal Court Solicitor for the City of Griffin, revised to clarify compensation. City Manager Kenny Smith will address.


SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS OR CONCERNS:

This revision to the Resolution passed at the January 13, 2015 Commission Meeting includes language to clarify the compensation schedule. Currently the Solicitor compensation is set at $20,000 per year paid in monthly intallments. The requested change will compensate the Solicitor at $400 per court appearance for fifty appearances per year.  

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends approval.
