Consider the reading of a conflict of interest statement regarding the City of Griffin’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) 2015 Public Facility Grant awards. Toussaint Kirk, Director of Planning and Development Services will address.


SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS OR CONCERNS:

The City of Griffin is a applying for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) for Public Facility Grants in the amount of $500,000 in 2012. 24 CFR Part 85, §85.36(b)(3) states in relevant part “No employee, officer or agent of a grantee or sub-grantee shall participate in the selection, or in the award or administration of a contract supported by Federal  funds if a conflict of interest, real or apparent, would be involved.

 

Disclosing a conflict of interest for either residing or owning property within the 2015 CDBG areas is Commissioner Douglas S. Hollberg.
