Option #1 - Leave current configuration of GA 155 and share one lane as a bike lane. GDOT will at their expense install turn signal at N. Hill Street and Broadway.
Option #2 - Reduce road diet to one lane with a dedicated bike land and buffer strip and extend parking places 3 feet with the condition that GDOT can some time in the future make intersection improvements if traffic becomes congested. GDOT will at their expense install turn signal at N. Hill and Broadway.
Staff will move forward on Commissions direction.
Project has been budgeted in 2008 SPLOST. |
