ITEM SUMMARY:

Consider approval to purchase office furnishings for the new Electric Operations Building on Thomas Drive from the low bidder, Impact Office Interiors, in the amount of $70,859.03.   Electric Director Bill Bosch will address.   Approved


SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS OR CONCERNS:

This purchase will furnish all offices, work stations, and work areas of the new building and includes desks, seating, conference tables, etc.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends approval.

FINANCIAL IMPACT:

$100,000 of the construction funds was approved to be set aside for the purchase of furnishings based upon estimated state contract costs. Funds approved for periodic draw during construction from Intermediate Short Term Trust  in original Thomas Property agenda item.   The bid came in lower than expected, saving $29,140.97.
