Consider a Proclamation declaring "Make A Difference Day in Griffin", on October 25, 2014. "Make a Difference Day" focuses on unifying the community and building pride throughout the City of Griffin. James Moore of the Environmental Council will address. Approved

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS OR CONCERNS:

For more than 20 years USA WeekEnd Magazine has collaborated with Points of Light in Make A Difference Day. This day engages millions of volunteers from across the nation to address local issues. This the second project to be completed by the Environmental Council in 2014 for the City of Griffin Public Works and Utilities Department.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends approval
