This facility has been identified in the Watershed Implementation Plan (NPDES). It is a public private partnership between the City of Griffin and Grogan, LLC. The project includes a regional detention facility for stormwater runoff and a floatable collection (BMP) best management practice device to collect debris and pollutants from reaching Shoal Creek which confluences to the Flint River.
Staff recommends approval.
Project is funded through the CWSRF 14-001 GEFA Loan Fund. The City of Griffin has a contractual agreement with Grogan, LLC to fund $250,000.00 dollars of the project and will be collected over the life of the 20 year loan. Cost of this phase of the project is $322,882.23. The loan value is $500,000.00 |
