Paragon Consulting Group is currently making engineering changes to the Potato Creek WWTP upgrade and expansion. The City of Griffin received its wastewater NPDES Permit 2014 from GAEPD and our limits for discharge have been reduced significantly therefore in the plant upgrade we must include a process to remove copper from our discharge to meet water quality standards. It is going to require a chemical treatment process design and this process will be incorporated in the plant construction.
Staff recommends approval.
The amount of this TOF/amendment is $199,990.00. Funding to come from the Capital Cost Recovery Fee, Industrial Development Authority Check and the CWSRF Loan. |
