Consider approval of proposal from Engineered Restorations Inc. to pressure clean and seal the exterior of One Griffin Center at a cost of $124,980.00. Central Services Director Phill Francis will address.

Pressure washing and sealing the exterior of the building will deter future moisture issues, including staining, as well as providing a more weather resistant exterior seal to compliment the expansion joint and window glazing project approved by the Board on 07/26/16. This task can be performed in conjunction with the joint and glazing project without additional mobilization costs and equipment rental. Funding for the project will be realized from already transferred funds from FY16 for the expansion joint, window glazing, elevator upgrades, and exterior paint.
Staff recommends approval of project
An expense of $124,980.00 from the $247,000.00 transferred funds in the FY 16 Budget leaves a balance of $122,020.00. |
