ITEM SUMMARY:

Consider, as a member of the Georgia Interlocal Risk Management Agency (GIRMA), approval of GIRMA Intergovernmental Contract revisions as recommended by the GIRMA Board of Trustees. City Attorney Drew Whalen will address.


SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS OR CONCERNS:

These revisions to the Intergovernmental Contract, originally established in 1987, reflect current law, administrative practices and the newly revised bylaws. A red-lined version of the Contract is attached for identification of noted changes, along with backup documentation. The mail ballot is to be returned no later than August 31, 2016.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends approval.
