AGENDA ITEM SUMMARY

Consider award of "design-build" architectural and construction services for the 2015 SPLOST funded, Griffin Fire-Rescue Station Headquarters to The Howell Group, Inc. and J.R. Bowman Construction Company.  Fire Chief Tommy Jones will address. 

This award is from three proposals received.  Selection was made by committee input and weighed the functional capacity of the design, both for response and administrative tasks. 

Contract approval will follow at a later date based on final design and cost evaluation.

Staff recommends awarding design-build bid to the Howell Group, Inc.and J. R. Bowman Construction Company. 

Project funded by 2015 SPLOST.
