ITEM SUMMARY:

Consider purchase of a used Hydroseeder and Straw Blower from Robert Page & Company in the amount of $22,500.00 for the Public Works Department of the Public Works and Utilities Department. Director of Public Works and Utilities Department Brant D. Keller will address.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS OR CONCERNS:

Robert Page & Company has been renting these units on an as-needed basis to the City. They are actually stored at Public Works. Units are in excellent condition and the city can utilize on numerous jobs in the Public Works Department and Stormwater Department. Instead of have multiple units in the two departments, the city will utilize this equipment in both.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends approval.

FINANCIAL IMPACT:

Budgeted FY2016-2017 CP-2017-4220-9-4 $15,000.00 and CP-2017-4220-9-3 $7,500.00. Total is $22,500.00 and amount of this purchase is $22,500.00.
