ITEM SUMMARY:

Consider the purchase of 6 (six) 30-yard roll-off containers at the per unit price of $3,770.73 for a total of $22,624.38 and the purchase of 6 (six) 20-yard roll-off containers at the per unit price of $3,500.74 for a total of $21,004.44 -- plus freight of approx. $1,740.00 for a grand total of $45,368.82 from Wastequip.  Phill Francis, Director of Central Services, will address.




SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS OR CONCERNS:

This purchase is budgeted in the approved F/Y 16-17 operating budget and is to be used for expanded current and future Commercial Business applications. Pricing was obtained under the NJPA (National Joint Powers Alliance) purchasing umbrella for use in the Commercial Division of the Solid Waste Department.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends approval of purchase.

FINANCIAL IMPACT:

$45,368.82 in budgeted F/Y 16-17 funds.
