ITEM SUMMARY:

Consider approval of the 2017 Local Maintenance and Improvement Grant (LMIG) with the Georgia Department of Transportation in the amount of $336,059.00 for the Public Works Department of the Public Works and Utilities Department. Director of Public Works and Utilities Department Brant D. Keller will address.


SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS OR CONCERNS:

The project list this year includes the milling, resurfacing and striping to D.F. Fuller Drive. This a 70% GDOT contribution and 30% COG match.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends approval.

FINANCIAL IMPACT:

The GDOT portion of the project is $253,163.43 and the city funding will come from SPLOST in the amount of $82,895.57 and total for project is $336,050.00.
