ITEM SUMMARY:

Consider a Resolution approving an Administrative Reorganization to match personnel changes in the FY 17 budget. City Manager Kenny Smith will address.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS OR CONCERNS:

Per the attached Organizational Charts, this reorganization provides for the elimination of the vacant position of Public Safety Director and adds the position of Staff Attorney; adds the G-S Business & Tourism Association; adds an Account I to Adminstrative Services; adds a Collections Crew Leader to the Wastewater Department; adds a Watershed Assistant to the Stormwater Department; adds a Commercial Driver in the Solid Waste Department; eliminates a laborer in the Cemetery Department; adds a utility billing tech in the electric department; and applies a reorganization of Tech Services in Electric Department.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends approval.

FINANCIAL IMPACT:

Changes are recognized in the FY 17 budget.
