AGENDA ITEM SUMMARY

Consider approval of a Resolution adopting the annual Fiscal Year 2016–2017 Operating Budget appropriating expenditures and projected revenues for specified purposes, functions and activities by fund for the budget period and the Capital Improvement Program. City Manager Kenny Smith will address.

The Fiscal Year 2016–2017 Operating Budget provides revenues and expenditures for the General Fund, Griffin-Spalding Airport Authority Fund, Solid Waste Fund, Stormwater Fund, Motor Pool Fund, the Combined Utilities Fund (Electric, Water, Wastewater), Special Revenue Funds, and component unit funds, etc., including personnel, contractual services, purchased services, operations and financing of expenditures through an appropriation of projected revenues. 

Public Notices and Public Hearings were advertised and held as required.
