ITEM SUMMARY:

Consider approval of a TOF for the Condition Assessment of Cabin Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant to Paragon Consulting Group in the amount of $93,275.00 for the Water and Wastewater Department of the Public Works and Utilities Department. Director of Public Works and Utilities Brant D. Keller will address.


SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS OR CONCERNS:

The condition assessment will explore options for design and upgrade, as well as estimate probable cost. Once completed, the next step will be design and engineering. The facility was granted $500,000.00 debt relief by the Georgia Environmental Finance Authority, and construction should begin in mid-2017.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends approval.

FINANCIAL IMPACT:

Budgeted Fy2016-2017 account 505-4333-52-1200 in the amount of $93,280.00.
