Consider approval of Task Order with Tetra Tech for the Watershed Sediment Evaluation for the dredging of Heads Creek Reservoir in the amount of $126,000.00 for the Water and Wastewater Department of the Public Works and Utilities Department. Director of Public Works and Utilities Brant D. Keller will address.




SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS OR CONCERNS:

This pertains to the next phase of preparation for the dredging of the sediment in Heads Creek Reservoir in 2018. After analysis of the sediment loading points to the reservoir then (in 2018), Griffin will apply for the 404 permit from the Corp of Engineers for the long-term sediment removal.



STAFF RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends approval.

FINANCIAL IMPACT:

Budgeted FY 2016-2017 in the amount of $126,000.00.
