AGENDA ITEM SUMMARY
Consider a letter of engagement with Raftelis Financial Consultants, Inc., for the calculation of, and support for, the City of Griffin's wholesale and retail water and sewer rates in the amount of $20,000.00 for the Water and Wastewater Department of the Pubic Works and Utilities Department. Director of Public Works and Utilities Department Brant D. Keller will address.

Raftelis Financial Consultants are the third party consultants used for rate calculations as detailed in our rate ordinance. This letter of engagement will authorize completion of both Task 1 (rate and financial planning model annual update) and Task 2 (update of the wholesale rate model) for project fees and expenses not-to-exceed $20,000. This would include all expected activities related to updating both models, plus other related financial planning assistance throughout FY 2017.
Staff recommends approval.
