ITEM SUMMARY:

Consider approval to accept a grant in the amount of $15,770.25 from the Firehouse Subs Foundation, Inc., for the purpose of purchasing seven (7) Automatic External Defibriallators, and amend budget accordingly.  John Hamilton, Operations Officer for Griffin Fire & Rescue, will address.


SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS OR CONCERNS:

This grant will add seven additional defibrillators to our inventory.  Units will be placed in all staff cars, all-terrain vehicles, and bike patrol for special events.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends acceptance of grant and amend budget accordingly.
