Consider approval to implement an Internet Master Service Agreement that sets the terms and conditions for selling internet bandwidth to customer businesses and authorize staff to negotiate pricing with business customers per individual needs with a service agreement. The Internet Master Service Agreement is designed for defining the use of selling business Internet and is not available for residential customers. The Master Service Agreement has been coordinated with, and approved by, the City Attorney. After approval of the Master Services Agreement staff will coordinate and negotiate pricing per customer needs.
Staff recommends approval to implement the Internet Master Service Agreement.
This newly proposed practice of utilizing the City of Griffin fiber optic network for providing Internet Services to businesses will bring long term financial gains to the City of Griffin. |
