Consider purchase of .82 acres located at 310 N. 12th Street, Griffin, GA in the amount of $30,000, and amend the budget accordingly. City Manager Kenny Smith will address.


SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS OR CONCERNS:

This triangular parcel is an eyesore to the Experiment Street corridor and will be demoed and cleaned to enhance the corridor, in conjunction with intersection improvements. This supplements the West Griffin Activity Center LCI Study and the UGA to Downtown Connectivity LCI Supplemental Study.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends approval.

FINANCIAL IMPACT:

$30,000 plus closing cost.
