ITEM SUMMARY:

Consider approval of a work contract  and lowest bid to P.F. Moon and Company for the upgrade and expansion of the Potato Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant (PCWWTP) in the amount of $16,849,000.00 for the Water and Wastewater Department of the Public Works and Utilities Department. Director of Public Works and Utilities Department will address.


SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS OR CONCERNS:

The plant is being expanded to meet the current and future demands of the Lakes at Green Valley Industrial Park and others. The upgrade is needed to meet the permit requirements of the plants' NPDES permit to discharge to the waters of the United States.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends approval.

FINANCIAL IMPACT:

Funding source:

IDA Funding is  4.5 million dollars

CCRF Funding is 2.0 million dollars

GEFA SRF Loan is 12.7 million dollars

 

The amount of this award for construction is $16,849,000.00
