Consider a Resolution to amend the City of Griffin Fiscal Year 2016 Operating and Capital budget in the amount of $60,564.41  in the General Fund for Cemetery Operations ($8,240.00 to replace the air condition and furnace at the cemetery office complex; and $20,000.00 to replace broken sidewalks and install an irrigation system at Memorial Park); and recognize a $5,000.00 donation from the Military Affairs Committee.  Public Works Director Dr. Brant Keller will address.

The Cemetery Trust Board met Thursday, January 20, 2016, approved the transfer of $60,564.41 in earnings from the Investment Portfolio to General Fund in order to replace an air condition and furnace unit ($8,240.00), replace broken sidewalks ($15,000), and install an irrigation system ($5000) all located at the Cemetery and Memorial Park, respectively.

Staff recommends approval.

The resolution and budget amendment appropriates $28,240.00 towards replacing an air condition and furnace unit, replacing broken sidewalks, and installing  an irrigation system.
