This is a sole source quote. Cole Technology has the ability to work on both pumps and motors. Cole has demonstrated superior performance working on other pumps and motors in the past without returns to correct their work. By having the ability to work on both pump and motor, it eliminates the finger pointing between two companies blaming each other while the pump stays inoperative. Pump #5 is a critical part of the distribution system in delivering finished water to the system.
Staff recommends approval.
Funding of $22,757.91 will come from budgeted repairs and maintenance account 505-4431-52-2200. |
