Appoint one (1) member to the Griffin-Spalding Hospital Authority for a four-year term set to expire 12/31/19, and a Commissioner liaison.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS OR CONCERNS:

This appointment is to fill the term of Cal Oxford, whose term expired 12/31/15. The Ex-Officio Commissioner liaison appointment was held by Commissioner McCord and expired 12/31/15. Members are appointed to four-year terms: 4 City appointees and 4 County appointees. The qualifications re: O.C.G.A. 31-7-72 states, "consideration shall be given to whether a licensed doctor or medicine or registered nurse currently serves on the authority. If not, then consideration shall be given to such person."
