ITEM SUMMARY:

Consider approval of Property Lease Agreement with the Griffin-Spalding County Airport Authority for the triangular, 156-square foot, parcel for sign placement. City Manager Kenny Smith will address.


SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS OR CONCERNS:

This parcel is commonly referred to as the "Airport Triangle Parcel in front of Roses Shopping Center" located on the southeasterly boundary of the Airport Authority.  The City's gateway welcome sign is currently placed on the parcel and necessitates this lease agreement to comply with FAA rules and regulations.     

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends approval.

FINANCIAL IMPACT:

An annual lease payment of $23.40 is due in January of each year.
