ITEM SUMMARY:

Consider the adoption of a resolution for FY2016 Application for Georgia Department of Transportation REBC Grant for Roadside Enhancement and Beautification. Director of Public Works and Utilities Department Brant D. Keller will address.


SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS OR CONCERNS:

This is a competitive grant awarded to communities for the beautification of roadways along GDOT state highways and routes.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends approval.

FINANCIAL IMPACT:

Total of Grant to be awarded is $50,000.00. Total of submittal is $54, 236.96. If awarded the grant, $4,236.96 will come from Street Departments materials and supplies account.
