ITEM SUMMARY:

Consider a request from Honor our KIA to mount two (2) plaques on the exterior of One Griffin Center and two (2) plaques on the Imperial Theater façade. City Manager Kenny Smith will address.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS OR CONCERNS:

Prior to the application for a Certificate of Appropriateness from the Historical Preservation Commission, the Honor our KIA is requesting permission to mount 2 plaques to City Hall and 2 plaques to the Imperial Theater façade. The attached diagrams show the exact location and a replica of the proposed plaques.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends approval.

FINANCIAL IMPACT:

None.

Staff will assist in the mounting of the plaques.
