Consider approval to award the purchase of three (3) Ford F350s in the amount of $111,690.00 from Speedway Ford. Vehicles will be assigned to the following departments:
- Public Works-Streets ($37,281.00) and declare surplus unit 438, a 1992 Ford F350 with 123,372 miles (VIN 2FDLF47M8NCB1);
- Solid Waste-Residential ($31,241.00) and declare surplus unit 901, a 1999 Dodge 1500 with 177,444 miles (VIN 1B7HV16Y5XS227647);
- Water - Distribution Division ($43,186.00) for an F350 with service body and declare surplus unit 1808, a 2003 Dodge 3500 with 176,000 miles (VIN 3D7MA48643G853831).

Vehicle purchases are scheduled as part of the City's Fleet Services lifecycle management program.
Staff recommends approval.
Fiscal year 2015-2016 Operating and Capital Budget includes appropriation for these F350s. Vehicle purchases affecting general fund will be scheduled throughout the year as cash flow allows. | | | |
