ITEM SUMMARY:

Consider the approval of an Acquisition Services Agreement with Manley Acquisition Services, LLC for the acquisition of City easements and properties on Intersection #2 Hill Street at Northside Drive & Tuskegee Avenue Improvement Project for Public Works and Utilities Department. Director of Public Works and Utilities Department Brant D. Keller will address.


SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS OR CONCERNS:

This project is jointly sponsored by the City of Griffin and Spalding County Government. The City will pay for its acquisition services, right-of-way (ROW), easements, and property which is located in the City and the Spalding County will pay for acquisition services, ROW, easements and real property in the county. Construction costs will also be split 50/50.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends approval.

FINANCIAL IMPACT:

Project funded in 2008 SPLOST.
