Consider renewal of an annual Agreement with E. David Dickens for Foilage and Soils Environmental Services in the amount of $7,400.00 for the Water and Wastewater Department of the Public Works and Utilities Department. Director of Public Works and Utilities Department Brant D. Keller will address.


SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS OR CONCERNS:

E. David Dickens, PhD, has been the environmental consultant for the Blanton Mill LAS and Still branch spray fields since 2005. He is a leading research scientist on forest management in the Southeast. His services provide the protection of 57 acres of timber at Still Branch and 600 acres of timber at the Blanton Mill LAS Site.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends approval.

FINANCIAL IMPACT:

Budgeted in FY2015-2016

Blanton Mill - 505-4334-52-1200 - $10,000.00. TOF is $4,440.00

Still Branch - 505-4432-52-1200 - $10,000.00   TOF is $2,960.00
