ITEM SUMMARY:

Consider the approval of a Task Order for an Inter-Basin Analysis to Paragon Consulting Group in the Amount of $192,310.00 for the Water and Wastewater Department of the Public Works and Utilities Department. Director of Public Works and Utilities Department Brant D. Keller will address.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS OR CONCERNS:

This analysis reviews system data from both CCWWTP and SCWWTP, as well as Blanton Mill Land Application System, in regards to inter-basin transfers, water quality and return flows to the Flint River. It reviews the most cost-effective solutions for collecting, treating and pumping of the waste water systems in the Shoal Creek Basin and Cabin Creek Basin.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends approval.

FINANCIAL IMPACT:

Budgeted in FY 2015-2016 account 505-4333-52-1300 in the amount of $193,000.00. The amount of this TOF is $192,310.00.
