Receive comments regarding a request to amend the Unified Development Code, of the City of Griffin, Article 12, Signs, Section 1205 A, Prohibited Signs. Planning & Development Services Director, Toussaint Kirk will address.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS OR CONCERNS:

The amendment is to add, replace or modify Article 12, Signs, Section 1205 A, Prohibited Signs as it pertains to signage that may cause distractions, provide city clutter and offer clarity to what signage is not permitted within the city limits.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:

Planning and Development Staff recommends APPROVAL of this request.

Planning and Zoning Board recommended APPROVAL of this request.
