Recognition of Officers of the Griffin Police Department for the awards received at the Annual District Attorney's Banquet held on May 5, 2015. District Attorney Scott Ballard and Police Chief Steven Heaton will address.


SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS OR CONCERNS:

On May 5, 2015, the following Griffin Police Officers were nominated and received recognition in several categories.

 

  • Lt. Mike Richardson - Officer of the Year;
  • Sgt. Joe Hudson - Heart of a Hero;
  • Officer Emily Blackmon - Rookie of the Year;
  • Sgt. Richards Phillips, Officer Pete Spahn and Officer Chardannay Hurst - the Team Work Award; and
  • The Griffin Police Department was awarded the Agency of the Year.
